We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land on which our Council and our Catholic schools operate, whose connection to this sacred land stretches back tens of thousands of years. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and honour their enduring cultural, spiritual and historical ties to Country.

This sacred connection, an unbroken bond with Creation, mirrors the Christian understanding of God's creation, where the earth is entrusted to us as stewards and guardians. May we walk forward together in respect, unity and care for this shared earth, listening to the wisdom of the First Peoples and seeking a path of reconciliation and healing.
